点评：We recently stayed at Pilington Farm and unfortunately wouldn’t return.
If you enjoy being somewhere with lots of rules and constant enforcement, then this may suit you. Throughout our stay, the staff driving around in the small electric buggies (the “Park Sheriffs”) seemed more focused on policing guests than providing a welcoming atmosphere. We were spoken to in a condescending manner on more than one occasion, making the stay feel uncomfortable rather than relaxing.
It’s also worth reading some of the other one-star reviews before booking. A number of them receive responses from the management that come across as rude, dismissive and abrupt. Rather than taking feedback on board, they often seem more interested in telling unhappy customers they’re “glad” they won’t be returning. That doesn’t inspire much confidence that genuine concerns are taken seriously or that the customer experience is something they want to improve.
Overall, the atmosphere was far from friendly, and it felt like we were being told what to do every few minutes rather than being able to enjoy our holiday. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend staying here and would encourage others to carefully read the reviews before deciding whether to book.
