Extremely Disappointing Experience – No Disability Consideration for Disabled Child

点评：We attended the Oulton Park Family Fun Day on Easter Monday (21st April) and were enjoying the event until the 2PM Bumblebee Meet & Greet, which turned into a distressing and upsetting experience for my disabled child.
The event map instructed guests to queue by the movie car area, which we followed. However, Bumblebee appeared at the opposite side of the stage, prompting a rush of people who pushed ahead, completely disregarding the original queue. My child, who uses a wheelchair, was effectively pushed aside in the chaos.
Despite waiting patiently in the correct area (and being unable to rush due to the wheelchair being on uneven grass terrain), we were later told to move near the back of the newly formed queue when staff attempted to organise it. This was not only frustrating, it was deeply upsetting to be treated this way—particularly when most venues now recognise sunflower lanyards and offer reasonable accommodations for guests with disabilities.
This felt like clear discrimination. There appeared to be no disability provisions in place, and certainly no priority access or staff awareness on how to manage accessibility needs during crowd-heavy moments. This level of exclusion and oversight is unacceptable in 2025.
To make matters worse, I emailed the venue following the incident to express my concerns and received no response whatsoever.
We had been planning to return for the British Superbikes event this weekend, but after the way we were treated, we will be avoiding Oulton Park until clear improvements are made regarding disability access and staff training.
