Overcharge and misleading on line booking system

点评：I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the experience we had at Elia Beach on July 3rd, 2025. We made an online reservation for two sets of sunbeds and umbrellas at the price of €80 per set. Upon arrival, we discovered that there are two distinct areas on the beach. We preferred the right-side area, which is quieter and more intimate, but we were informed that our reservation was for the left-side area, which is more commercial and closer to the restaurant and services.
We requested to switch to the right-side area and offered to cancel our online reservation to rebook on-site. We were told by the staff that they would handle the change internally and that we could move to the right-side area without any issue. However, we later learned that the right-side area costs €50 per set, while the left-side area costs €70. We were charged €80 per set with no clear indication online that this price included any additional reservation fee. When we inquired about using the difference as a credit towards food and beverages, we were told this was not possible. We also encountered inconsistent information regarding the guarantee of front-row seating, as we were informed that to secure front-row seats, we would need to arrive by 9:30 AM, despite the higher reservation fee. Overall, we feel that the online booking process was misleading, and the staff was unhelpful and rude when we tried to resolve the issue. We are requesting a refund of the difference, as we ended up paying €160 for something that should have cost €100.
