Manitou Springs Mineral Spa and Serenity的点评
点评：Overall, the springs are a great experience. The location of the hotel is very good but there definitaly was some issues with the hotel and especially the restaurant. I would recommend you stay someplace else and just get a day pass to go in the springs.
The front desk (lady with red hair who I think was actually a manager) was incredibly rude and belittling. She seemed too busy to want to deal with anyone at the front desk (even though there was a line up). The restaurant service was terrible (there was only us and one other table). We waited for 20 minutes just to get a drink. She then said "sorry about that, I have been really busy" ....we sort of looked around and wondered how when there was only 2 tables.
The food quality at the restaurant was very poor (unlike the pictures on the wall) and the service was terrible. I had ordered a spring roll bowl which normally comes with rice noodles, however, upon closer examination, there was spaghetti noodles mixed in. It was bland and seemed to have a sauce that one would guess came out of a jar.
My hubby's steak was very plain/bland and did not even really look grilled. The food does not taste authentic/real and is definitely not high quality. We heard several other tables complain about their food as well and one table sent one of their dishes back. The cafe by the springs, however, was good food and good service (we ate breakfast there).
The room was OK, but a bit dated. The air conditioner worked but we had no water in our shower. It was just a trickle coming out of the shower head. I showered when I got back to our campsite (although I guess I could have ran down to the springs to shower). Definitely not worth $200/night.
Overall, the springs part was fine and I would recommend that you go there as it is an interesting experience. However, I would not recommend the hotel or the restaurant.
