Fantastic find, one not to be missed.
Nottingham Industrial Museum的点评
点评：This is a hidden gem of a museum, £2.00 to get in and it’s not only packed with interesting items but the volunteers have so much knowledge. Especially Roger and John, who took the time to explain everything. Roger had a very broad general knowledge and pointed out items and facts we may have missed and Johns industry knowledge on the lace making machines was fascinating.
This was the museum that keeps giving, we almost missed half of it, we left after the first building thinking we were done, John came outside and mentioned the other half through the back door, wow there was another hours viewing out there. Absolutely fantastic. From clocks, lace making, transport and a beam engine, fire engine and lots of other smaller items to view. A brilliant find.
I would come back to woollaton Hall for the museum, but signage at the hall in general was unclear and the cafe very poor. So bring a picnic.
