Show still on top after many years, but the session keeps getting shorter

点评：As locals, we’ve been bringing visitors to the medieval banquets almost every second year since 2000. The 2025 band is still on top — full of energy, with a remarkable master of ceremony and a very talented violinist we first discovered years ago. The staff is welcoming and friendly and will pay attention to every guest.
The famous “bottomless” wine jug is still there, and the food remains fine.
However, the show has clearly suffered from shrinkflation over the years (not just in Bunratty, but in Knappogue too).
It feels as though they’re trying to fit in more tour groups each evening, and the result is a somewhat rushed experience compared to the relaxed atmosphere we used to love.
Prices have steadily increased, and in our opinion, it’s now only worth it when there’s a special deal available. There’s practically no waiting time, you are just asked to arrive a few minutes early. Just note that the entrance route isn’t clearly marked — we had to walk through a dark, closed souvenir shop to reach the reception, and others nearly missed the start while waiting to be greeted outside.
