Anadama? Not even close!
When Pigs Fly Bakery的点评
点评：Craving an authentic New England version of Anadama bread, I decided to roll the dice on When Pigs Fly. They had so many positive reviews...
Alas, I found the following when ordering and receiving my order;
A) the shipping for 4 loaves of whole wheat Anadama bread cost about 20% more than the bread,
B) the order was not complete. While I ordered 4 loaves, I only received 3.
Note; they are actually 1/2 loafs, not full loafs.
C) while they say that orders are shipped at the end of the day the order is received, not so. My order shipped on the 2nd day and took a week to arrive.
D) the flavor of the "whole-wheat Anadama bread" is, at best, 99% whole-wheat, 1% actual Anadama.
E) despite calling the company the day my order arrived to report the missing (and, paid-for) loaf, no one has bothered to return my call. That was 5 days ago...
In short, if you're looking for an authentic New England Anadama bread, look anywhere else...it would likely be extremely difficult to find another as disappointing as this one.
