Piglets Adventure Farm, York – A Busy but Brilliant Easter Day Out

点评：We visited Piglets Adventure Farm during the Easter holidays, so as expected, it was very busy – but that didn’t stop us from having a great time! The staff managed the crowds really well, and there was plenty to keep my daughter happy and engaged all day long.
The Easter egg trail was a big hit – my daughter loved following the clues, and collecting a sweet treat at the end was the perfect reward. The tractor ride to the play barn was also a highlight and added a bit of extra excitement to the day.
One of her favourite spots was the beach area, and I’m so glad I booked one of the beach huts. My daughter sometimes struggles with regulation, and having a private, calming space to retreat to for a few minutes made a huge difference. It gave her the reset she needed to go back and enjoy all the fun.
She also really loved feeding the baby lambs and learning about life on the farm – it was a lovely hands-on experience and a great learning opportunity for her as a home-educated child.
All in all, despite the Easter crowds, it was a fantastic day out with a great mix of play, nature, and education. Piglets Adventure Farm is a wonderful place for families – especially if you plan ahead and make use of their quieter spaces when needed.
