Small National Trust garden on the banks of the Wye.

点评：The Weir Garden is managed by the National Trust. The garden snakes along the steep banks of the River Wye near Hereford. The house is now a care home and not a visitor attraction.
Paths meander through the garden giving far reaching views over the river. The paths are uneven in places with roots and stones so good balance and stout footwear are useful. Natural planting not a formal garden. There is a separate walled garden with green house and cottage garden type planting.
Fruit was for sale. There is no cafe.
Parking is free and access easy directly from a main road. Picnics are allowed in the car park field area. The NT volunteers were friendly and informative. Leaflet for self guided tour.
As National Trust members, so we spent a peaceful hour with no entrance, but not sure I would visit if paying the entrance fee. Too little there to encourage a return visit.
