Great show, bad customer service.
Snappers Laugh In Comedy Cafe的点评
点评：Attended last Saturday night for the 6 pm show. We have been to Snappers many times in the past. I was texted for free tickets on this occasion. I was confirmed for 4 free tickets.
Upon arrival, the hostess could not find me on the list for free tickets. It was very embarrassing . She did seat us after a few minutes. The room had over 30 empty seats at 5:30 pm. After we were seated, the server took our orders. Jill, who I assume, was the manager, came over and asked me at the table where I had obtained the free tickets. I told her Snappers had texted me with the offer. She stated they had no record, and informed us that there was a two item per person minimum purchase per person and walked away.
A few more people arrived and the show started. The room was probably only three quarters full.
We ordered beers, wine, and nachos. The beers were around $5.50 each, the glasses of wine were $12 each, and the plate of nachos were $15. The nachos were horrible. It was concession style liquid cheese. The $12 glasses of wine were outrageously priced.
I am a retired restaurant/bar owner and manager and have owned and operated two comedy clubs. Although the show was great, the customer service was horrendous. First impressions are lasting impressions. You never embarrass the customer. Jill needs some customer service coaching. Charging extra for food to cover the show price is fine, as long as the food is great and service is great.
