点评:We visited on 5/6/24 and it was my third visit to Highgrove Gardens. The weather was perfect and as the tour is obviously all outside that was a relief! The tour lasts about and hour and a half but get there in plenty of time as you need to take the whole experience in! You can visit the Orangery cafe or wander around the beautiful elephant sculptures or just sit and wait in the entrance hall and look at the paintings and photographs. The first time we took my granny and we borrowed a wheelchair from Highgrove for her so that she could see the gardens easily without fear of tripping up. They were brilliant at accommodating this and she had lots of attention from the guide. The guides are very knowledgeable. This time there was a lot of scaffolding being put up around one side of the house and it was quite noisy. After the tour we had a cream tea in the Orangery which is served on beautiful china and is a generous portion. We also visited the shop and took a few mementoes and plants home with us. If you haven’t been just go - it’s a fantastic experience!
