Perfect, almost.
海格罗夫楼宾馆的点评
点评：A truly special place with such careful and thoughtful garden design creating a harmonious relationship of relaxed formality and naturalistic landscape. The grounds are made up of many different gardens but, each has the feeling on intimacy and privacy with clever vistas highlighted with pops of colour reminding us this is not only a garden designed by The King but, also an artist and a place he calls home.
The woman who led our garden tour was extremely well versed, audible and interesting and overall, all the staff from the policeman on the entrance to the gardeners we met along the way were very polite and friendly.
I do however, have to raise an issue with the price of the food and the layout of the shop. I chose the 'selection of cakes and tray bakes with a pot of tea' for £15.50 and was surprised I only received a solitary chocolate brownie and pot of tea. The most expensive Brownie in the country I imagine. The cafe staff were nevertheless very quick with service, polite and friendly. The shop could have been more thoughtfully laid out and perhaps they need to bring in an experienced POS/Merchandise manager to focus their offerings.
I would definitely recommend the garden tours as I came away feeling I had experienced something quite magical and, that The King really does not get enough credit for his vision and skill with garden design and as. an artist generally.
