点评:Tickets can be bought as part of a combo to Nidaros cathedral which I recommend. It's not particularly large inside, as on the ground floor you will find a small exhibition which details the origin of the crown jewels, the materials used and the history of the various coronations that have taken place. This is all displayed on large information boards written in in Norwegian and English together with several pictures and illustrations.
Downstairs you can view the Crown Regalia in 3 small rooms. Going in through the entrance way you are reminded NOT to take any photography inside. You can see the Royal Standard, Crown, Sword, Sceptre, and Orb together with the Queen and Princes Crown. These are all displayed within glass cases (alarmed) and inside each room is a security guard (if you ever doubted the authenticity of such items).
It took me about 45 minutes to go round, although could be done in about 30 minutes. Again, it is not a very large museum but does help shine a light on the Royal Family.
