点评：This experience was my favorite amongst the many experiences that I had in Svalbard. I took the 4-hour trip because I was not confident that I can handle the longer one. Turns out that I enjoyed this so much. My guide was Olivia and she was fantastic. We were each picked up from our hotels and driven to the Green Dog yard a few kilometers out of town. Then we were asked to go inside a shed and help ourselves to warm overalls, balaclavas, boots and gloves. After, we went to the yard where the dogs each had their own kennels and we were given clear instructions on how to maneuver and behave on the sled. The dogs were all very friendly and loved pats and all very excited and happy to run. Their happiness infects you and it was both a joy to drive the sled or merely to sit as passenger, as the sled is driven into the wilderness and across a frozen lake. We were a team of three sleds and each person was given the opportunity to drive. On certain steep sections, I was asked to go down on the snow and help the dogs by pushing the sled. At one time, the lead dog had his own mind and didnt listen to command, and so I was asked to run in front of the sled to entice the dogs to follow me. It was all pure FUN! I was so happy.
