点评:We visited the Sunnmore museum and visited the many buildings on the site—a huge boat house with reconstructed/refurbished boats—one back to around 100ad!, reconstructed storage buildings, church houses, sawmill, homes, barns, boat houses, school/boarding house for poor children (if children weren’t educated they couldn’t be confirmed). We were fascinated by it all!
There is site where archeologists have found a medieval village.
There is a “working” church on the land (exterior is white marble) with many very old headstones—so poignant. There is no charge for this huge outdoor museum. We simply marveled at all the places to see as we walked about.
I have read complaints on this site that people couldn’t enter most of the buildings. When we consider the age of these buildings and what it takes to fortify them for thousands of visitors it’s no wonder that it is safer to walk about outside.
We spent several hours exploring the site. We took a taxi to the museum from the cruise ship terminal (300 krone) and an Uber back to city center (287 krone).
