Big Spring Park - an enjoyable walk around the water in downtown Huntsville.

点评：We recently stayed at the Embassy Suites in Huntsville, AL. The hotel is located adjacent to a beautiful spring canal and park area. The spring was originally the primary method of transporting goods down to the river and on to other cities. It has now been converted to a beautiful walking park along the spring and a large pond. There is also a significant green area to enjoy. Along the spring there are sufficient benches to sit and enjoy the sight and the weather. The spring is now filled with very large carp, Koi and goldfish; some of which had to be greater than two feet long. There are also a good number of ducks and geese to add to the image (surprisingly, without the quantity of excretions that one would normally expect). There are also several vending stands for duck/fish food to attract the wildlife for closer viewing. (Bring quarters.) Well worth a leisurely walk or enjoying a nice bench in the sun or shade on a warm afternoon.
