点评:This is a beautiful nature reserve just on the western edge of Trondheim with easy public transportation access. Lian Tram stop is a 5-minute walk away. I definitely recommend a visiting in early October as I saw just about every autumn shade possible!
Bymarka is actually quite large, much bigger than how it appears on a map, all surrounding a large lake and more. Lay of the land is all mostly flat land with a few small slopes at points. It took me under an hour to walk round the nearest lake to Lian at a leisurely pace stopping at several beauty spots take some photos and feed the ducks. Being a popular recreational area there are several pathways you can take round (off and on the beaten track). Doing so could take you right near the water’s edge if you wanted, or deeper into the rich forests surrounding.
There are footpath signs to help direct you round if you need it. Also present are a few wooden benches at open spots overlooking the lake. One side of the lake there are a few small information boards that explain the development and history of the area. Nearer Lian the vegetation opens up to a larger grassy area suitable for a small picnic, there are not any bins round that I saw as you are expected to take your rubbish home with you. Very peaceful with few people about early in the morning.
