A fabulous, informative and very special visit

点评：My family and I so enjoyed our olive oil tour with Daniel at his family run "mas". Daniel was fantastically warm and responsive right from our very first email.
We learnt so much on the tour in a such a lovely user friendly way. Daniel was super informative and was great at engaging with our young children - he used his iPad and photos to make it visually interesting. It turns out he used to be a primary school teacher. Daniel also had excellent English and it was lovely to hear first hand how his grandmother used to harvest the olives and to even see the old basket and ladder she used to use. Daniel also talked a bit about the cicadas and showed us their nests, the history of the mas as well as all things olives. The olive oil and tapenade tasting was great - who knew there was “black” olive oil as well as the traditional “green”?! And how many things are made from olives?! Daniel also hosted a “guess the flavour” vinegar quiz for the children at the end which was fun! There is a lovely gift shop which is worth a look around - there are beautiful soaps, hand made candles, honey etc.
We had a fabulous morning and would absolutely recommend you book a visit with Daniel if you are in the area. Un grand merci à Daniel for a very special visit.
