点评：I met Seasmoke operators, Nate & Jeannine, on an expedition to Antarctica. When I learned where they spent their North American summers, I said "I'll come and visit you next time I'm on Vancouver Island." Little did I know that visiting them involved a 6.5 hour drive north of Victoria! Absolutely no regrets. Many say that Vancouver Island gets more beautiful and more interesting the further north you go and I am now part of that camp. Seasmoke is committed to educating and sharing the wildlife around Vancouver Island with visitors while protecting the environment, respecting the wildlife, and participating in research. They operate a covered boat, a must have in this part of the world, but the cover is clear and the vertical barriers are spread out which is good for photographers and general guest viewing. You'll be provided a warm float suit and a warm welcome.
