Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall的点评
点评：Visited Nottingham concert Hall, for a Michael Jackson tribute show "Man in the Mirror". The venue is a lovely place as is the theatre, we've visited many times. Good size, loads of seating, great view from all areas of seating, although I prefer to sit in tier 1. Lifts to upper floors. Plenty of staff around and always happy to help. Tickets clearly state your seat numbers and tell you which level you need to be on and which door to enter from, so I really cannot understand why people make it so difficult to find their seat. Ticket prices are pretty reasonable for most shows, but prices for drinks and snacks are extortionate, although you kind of expect them to be in these places.
Now for the show, I was not impressed at all. Maybe being a Michael Jackson fan since I was a young child, my expectations are a little high but, he couldn't sing, his dance moves were limited, and the four dancers with him reminded me of a boy bands dance moves. He did look like MJ, and he covered a good variety of his songs from early stuff with the Jackson five through to his latest like Jam.
The show was over half hour late starting, although this was no fault of the show people, but this meant we had to leave early to get our transport home.
A good effort, but I won't be spending my money to see this show again.
