点评:A junk shop of a room, if you can access it.
1. Inaccessible if you have physical difficulties in climbing a set of wooden stairs
2. A scruffy room full of drapery, statuary, cushions, sheepskins, and woven willow statues. The drapery etc. gets changed every 6 weeks or so to match the turning of the wheel of the year. The word "tawdry" springs to mind.
3. Too much chit-chat from the volunteers (Melissas) and their friends intruding on people's quiet time.
4. Tremendously hot during the summer, and the noise from the cafe in the courtyard and from people shopping is intrusive.
5. Be aware that this is part of the larger Glastonbury Goddess Temple 'empire'.
6. Marion Zimmer Bradley's "Avalon" novels seem to act as a primer/history book for the group that run this place. I know it's popular right now to talk about cancelling people, however it should be noted that MZB was a child abuser, along with her husband.
7. The GG Temple does, I suppose, provide some seekers with an introduction to a form of neo-paganism (one woman's UPG**) and opens others' eyes to the fact that there IS a Feminine Divine.
8. It's all about how it looks. Not a scrap of energy to be found in this community's "Temple" or rituals.
Beautiful, but empty.
Not recommended.
