点评：2 out of 5 of our party had ski hire - this was easy and efficient and the staff friendly.
Our youngest attended ski school and I have to say the 2 gents were amazing! They were extremely friendly, encouraging and patient - they took time to feed back at the end of the lessons and even acknowledged him on the slopes when they were in their free time! Lovely lovely guys! Thank you for giving him such a positive experience and helping him gain confidence!
Unfortunately, half the runs were closed on our visit due to ice / lack of snow and night skiing cancelled on 1 of the two nights due to high winds but they were organised and kept the slopes they could groomed and well maintained.
The bus to the other side ‘Raudalen’ is a risk - the button lift is not suitable for children - on the day my experienced husband and competent 17 year old went they ended up just sitting and waiting for over 2 hours for the bus back as it was so unsafe / icy - they clearly advertise as no help / assistance available in emergency / help needed situations at the slope but don’t make this clear before departure. My husband alerted the group on the 12pm bus to this and after some of them sent out ‘scouts’ - 3/4 of the experienced bus of skiers / snowboarders returned due to concerns over safety / ability to complete the treacherous runs.
Although small this resort has so much potential - it was perfect for a mixed ability family (a very nervous second time skier to a 20 year experienced pro)
