A great taste of a traditional hammam

点评：This was a great experience and it was easy for me to get by without me knowing a word of Turkish. It was about a 10 min walk from the ferry port and easy to find.
I paid in TL which worked out at €28 for a session without an oil massage (it was €30 in euro).
I was shown through to a changing cubicle which I soon realised was my locker so I could leave all my stuff there and have a lie down on the small couch that was there.
I went downstairs to the marbled hammam - there were showers and small floor level basins and a ‘sauna’. I went in there to recombobulate after the ferry crossing - it wasn’t particularly hot, but the marble was warm to relax on. The door opened and my masseuse gestured for me to come with her. I laid on the marble central plinth and was scrubbed extensively - both sides. I just had bikini bottoms. Then I was smothered in bubbles and given a good lather. I was splashed with hot water from the basin and my hair given a wash, which felt like the sort of hair wash your mum gave you when you were 7!
My skin felt amazing and I would certainly return. Towels and flip flops were supplied and it was a very jolly chatty atmosphere. It was perfectly clean - just don’t expect Ritz. It’s an everyday facility, not a luxury spa.

我的皮肤感觉棒极了，我一定会再来的。他们提供了毛巾和人字拖，氛围非常愉快，大家也都聊得很开心。这里非常干净——只是别指望什么豪华水疗中心。这只是一个日常设施，而不是一个豪华水疗中心。
