点评:I Cannot say enough positive things about this experience! First of all, we got a flat tire on the way to the Eat Istria cooking studio. Edi, Nikola, and Goran immediately jumped in to help. Edi communicated in Croatian with the roadside assistance folks to expedite the towing process. Nikola and Goran drove into town to pick up our car so that my wife and I could continue enjoying our time with wonderful chef Edi worry-free. Five star service. We were almost in tears over their generosity and kindness!
Aside from all that, the actual cooking experience was absolutely incredible! Their studio, located on an adorable little olive grove tucked away outside of Medulin, was the perfect setting. They have a well-curated and eclectic vinyl collection that we were able to peruse to curate the day’s playlist (as a vinyl enthusiast myself I felt like a kid in a candy store)! The wine was flowing, laughter and smiles abounded from everyone, and the food we cooked alongside chef Edi was remarkable. We learned about their balsamic vinegar production process and were offered a taste of the best balsamic these two silly Americans have ever tried. All in all, this was the highlight of our two-week Croatian honeymoon (we’re only a week in, but we can both confidently say that nothing will top this). If we had asked a travel agent to curate the perfect Croatian experience for us, this would have been it!
