Great hike, interesting site.
Haereid Iron Age Burial Site的点评
点评：Visited the tourist centre and obtained map of walking trails here.
Took the yellow trail which is about 5 kms long. We started along the river and took that route, follies river up to lake. Very nice hike, beautiful river, lake with waterfalls visible across lake..
Trail continues up a couple small switchbacks as you gain altitude into farming area and quickly into burial site area. Very old site, not lots to see other than burial sites, circular areas in forested area.
Route is east to follow, continues down road and a longer decline into town back to point of commencement.. takes about 1.5 hours..
Saw some deer on our walk, migratory birds at lake. Was nice day and great hike. Worth it if you have the time, don’t expect to see much exhibit raise and you won’t be disappointed.
