点评：I stayed for a little under a week at the Blackthorn Camp and had a wonderful time. Barney was friendly and easy to talk to and showed me how to safely chop wood for the fire and start the fire as well, very helpful as I've not had much experience in those areas. Firewood was available by the bag for a decent price which was very handy as I wasn't able to bring my own. The caravan I was in was very comfortable and fun to stay in. It was also nice to have horses nearby, they'd occasionally wander down right near to the camp I was in. As a fan of horses, they were delightful company and adorable as well. The whole area was incredibly pretty and the lights hung around the camp gave a rather pleasant atmosphere in the evening. It's a great place to go if you want to just hang out in nature for a few days, I do recommend bringing a book or two.
British weather, being British weather, it rained the first few days I was there, but I was still able to sit outside by the fire as the sheltered area over the firepit was sufficient enough that even with heavier rain, I remained completely dry (and my book did too thankfully). Compost toilet was easy to get used to and was tucked away in a nice hidden area.
