点评：Words cannot describe the beauty of what Barny has created at Wanderlusts.
As soon as you leave your vehicle at the road side, you feel like you’re stepping into a time warp of days gone by, a real , genuine experience that is so rare to find these days. If you’re looking for a squeaky clean, ticks all mod con boxes, total comfort kind of trip, maybe skip this one!
But if you have been feeling the yearn for adventure, looking to connect with nature, waking to a chorus of chattering birds, basking in a babbling stream, immersing yourself in good company, family, fire cooked food and friendship, then this is the place for you.
Barny has created a magical world of escapism from the modern world, a real chance to leave it all behind. I have been coming here for years now, enjoying both horse drawn and static holidays. The horse drawn holidays are something exceptional that you will not experience anywhere else. Meg and Biddy, Barnys horses are a reflection of what a wonderful, calm and kind soul he is. You will experience life on the road, camping in various locations, living the rustic and basic life.
This isn’t a glamping holiday - please don’t expect to find all the drapings of a modern airbnb experience. This is back to basics, cooking and sharing stories over the fire sort of trip. Bring your hot water bottles and thermals if you’re not used to the cold! Bring your battery packs and torches if you can’t bare the moonlight! But most of all just leave all your worries at the road side and just live in the rare moment of peace, without electricity, without modern distractions, immersed in a naturally stunning location with those you love most.
