点评:The Lincoln connection to the log cabin was through Thomas Lincoln, who was the father to Abraham Lincoln. Abe did buy/own the farmland, which he then deeded to his father. In addition to the Lincoln cabin, there's also the neighboring farmstead, which belonged to the Stephen Sargent. Since Thomas and Stephen had different approaches to how they handled/developed their farms, it was interesting to see how these differences affected their homes and lands.
In addition to touring the two farms, there's also a visitor center and museum (located between them). There's a ~15 minute movie that explains a lot of the history of the families and farms. The museum also delves into various people from the area as well as lifestyle aspects of the time. Enjoyed that there were some interactive components to the museum, such as some toys for kids to play with.
