Canoë Roquebrun的点评
点评：What a fun day out! I booked for 9 members of my family and we all had a great time. We did the 3 hour/10km trip which was perfect. It took less than 3 hours but if we had taken a picnic it would have taken longer. We had 4 x 2 man kayaks and one x one person canoe. Everyone capsized at least once apart from the one man canoe but it was all fun and you get quite hot so a dip was very welcome. The water is not cold.
Initially we met at their base in Roquebrun and were given paddles and life jackets. Helmets were also available. A coach took us upriver to Vieussan where we had a briefing in French and collected our canoes. The yellow/green ones have back rests behind the seats and i would recommend these over the orange/red ones. There are rapids very soon after you enter the water and my girlfriend and I both fell in; we soon got back in and enjoyed the scenery and got the hang of steering and paddling. There did not seem to be too many canoes on the water when we went. We were in a group of 5 boats and took it in turns to go through the rapids. A lot of fun and would do it again. We bought some photos from the photographer who was positioned by one set of rapids. I think it was about 80 Euros for all 68 of his pictures of our group.
