Mobility buggy thwarted by huge stones on paths!

点评：My husband and I visited Holt Country Park on 25th May, 2025 as had been before with my mobility scooter, and the two dogs. This time, however, I was thwarted on almost every path as repairs have been made to the paths to try to reduce mud I expect during wet weather….but the repairs and puddle filling used HUGE stones that were impossible to cross. As they covered the whole width of the path, we had to turn back and go on another path….until we found the same thing. Massive stones that a mobility buggy or wheelchair or even child’s pushchair would be unable to cross. Such a shame! SO disappointing. And with so many ares striving nowadays to make things wheelchair accessible, the repairs here made it very certainly wheelchairs inaccessible. Also the thick woodchip leading to the disabled toilets made it near impossible to access for those in wheelchairs or buggies! The disabled toilet facilities were good…..there was even a baby changing table right next to the toilet which doubled as a changing table to lay out stoma care products when changing a stoma bag. Overall though, SO DISAPPOINTING to not be able to get far on any path because of the boulder-like stones placed all over the paths.
