Awesome Park!, unfortunately it was a rainy day. Read why we were here

点评：We have been here before for the same reason and really enjoyed the evening. What was the reason you ask? It was for the free concert by the Minnesota Orchestra as part of the Beethoven Festival. The last time, it was a warm sunny evening, beautiful sunset and wonderful professional music.
Fast forward to July 5, 2025. We arrived at the park about 6:15PM, the concert to begin at 8PM. It had been raining off and on all day and was still cloudy. Though it looked somewhat hopeful that it might clear up. We walked around the park. There is plenty of parking available. There is a public boat landing to the lake. The is a veteran's memorial that is very well done. Also a cute little amphitheater with bench seating, a children's playground and many other amenities. So, we saw the orchestra arrive in two busses from Minneapolis...yay they are here! At 7PM it started raining and raining hard. It lasted only 15 minutes, but clouds were still threatening and weather radar showed more rain on the way. I walked by the stage as they were packing away the chairs and music stands. Looks like a no-go. We walked back to the car disappointed and left. Though it was enjoyable just walking around the park.
