Far from boring!
Lacock Abbey的点评
点评：Many years ago we dragged our children round Lacock; needless to say, they hated it. There was no surprise then on our current visit we heard a rather loud small voice declaring 'not another boring house!' How wrong he was.
Lacock is brilliant, magnificent and extra-ordinary all rolled into one fantsatic visit. I have no doubt that our now grown up family will want to drag their offspring along. This time they will discover an amazing assortment of child friendly activities in the grounds. I really wanted a go on the climbing wall, apparently I am too old now. Another disappointed child.
Wonderfully tranquil grounds and a very informative museum relating the discovery of photography with all its twists and turns.
The cafe is worth the visit too, just be careful of your timing, it does get busy.
The house tour was pure entertainment. A 'Harry Potter' family shared their knowledge and enthusiasm all the way round. Plenty of iconic photo stops for the children who were dressed head to toe in costume. What a day out they were having, Harry Potter is alive and well running around Lacock Abbey!
