The Watermill Theatre的点评
点评：Five of us in a family visited to celebrate a birthday on Wednesday, June 10th. We enjoyed a tasty bar meal of paninis, salad, and chips with drinks before a performance of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
We each got two filled, 6-inch paninis with salad for approx £8 which is very good value for money.
The performance of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was extremely good and a very high standard in every respect.
It was 2.5 hours long but flew by in a jam-packed delivery of song and dance routines from a troupe of clearly very talented actors.
We sat in the circle slips, looking down on the stage, so we saw all the interesting choreography, exciting sound, and visual effects on offer - including the AMAZING hydraulic elevation of the car above and around the stage - essential to the story of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang !!!
Halfway through the first half, the whole audience was invited outside the theatre - to sit in a circus style tent to see more, including an amusing homemade invention for haircuts!!
The weather was fortunately warm, but it really wouldn't have mattered if it had rained because everything is under cover, and our attention was diverted by an obviously hugely talented cast from start to finish.
