The Watermill Theatre的点评
点评：We haven’t been here since well before the pandemic, and after last evening’s meal and performance, we appreciated quite to what extent we have been missing out!
The pre-theatre meal was acceptably priced, with a varied menu - and realistic vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options. We all had different dishes, and declared each to be of a very high standard. Service was good and staff friendly and helpful.
We’d booked for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and couldn’t work out how they could manage a flying car in such a tiny theatre… we didn’t count on the creativity of the production team and skills of the cast. Never once did our attention drop, it was non-stop from the get go. We expected the audience to be full of children, and were surprised to see the very varied age range of attendees. Not sure who enjoyed it more, the youngsters, or the adults. It was full of vim, vigour and humour. Acting was superb, as was the singing, dancing and instrumental skills.

我们预订的是《Chitty Chitty Bang Bang》这场演出。我们完全想不出他们要如何在这么小的剧场上操控一辆会飞的汽车……但我们低估了制作团队的创造力以及演员们的精湛演技。整个演出过程中我们的注意力从未分散过，从始至终都精彩纷呈。我们原以为观众以小孩子居多，没想到到场观众的年龄层其实非常广泛。真不知道是小孩子还是大人们更喜欢这场演出呢。整场演出充满活力、生机与幽默感。表演出色，歌唱 likewise 亦很精彩。舞蹈与乐器演奏技巧。
