World of Owls的点评
点评：My daughter and I did the individual owl experience which is definitely worth the money and bearing in mind all the money goes to the running of the sanctuary.
We had Leanna as our handler who explained all about Nero the Erasian Eagle Owl. Leanna is very passionate about all the birds and especially Nero who we got to hold, it was just amazing to have the stunning Nero perched on your arm. And have him so close to stroke his chest, he was very happy and content.
After our personal time with Leanna and Nero, we then walked round the sanctuary to see the many owls, falcons and eagles. Even if it's raining there is plenty of shelter under the many trees in the sanctuary.
We also spotted lots of deer 🦌 in the field beside the sanctuary.
World of Owls is definitely worth visiting and since it's all volunteers working there, they need the support of visitors to keep the place running.
We visited the shop to buy a class fridge magnet and mini owl toy - which our cat claimed the minute he saw it lol!!
Oh and there is even an area inside where there are tarantulas and other strange creatures to admire, or fear in my case!!
