From Rwanda across Tanzania by bicycle supported by Safaris-R-Us!

点评：So we did something a bit different - 8 of us rode bicycles 1600km from Kigali in Rwanda, right across Tanzania, then around Mt Kilimanjaro to the Kenyan border, then to Moshi. Safaris-R-Us provided us with a support vehicle across Rwanda, then a support vehicle and driver (Jackson) across Tanzania. The whole trip took over three weeks, and it was really important to have completely reliable and adaptable support (and fun!) the whole way. Safaris-R-Us provided us with fantastic support and managed all the the logistics (even though this was pretty out of left field)! Our trip was different to a normal safari because we couldn't be sure about accommodation in small villages, couldn't book ahead, didn't know where we would get to and the like - our driver Jackson was brilliant at talking to us, understanding and anticipating what we needed, and making sure the ride was a success. By the time we finished, this wasn't a team of 8 cyclists, this was a team of 9 with Jackson being a valued team member, and frankly, becoming a good friend. We also had a day off the bikes and safari at Ngorongoro crater, which was brilliant and Jackson's knowledge and experience really came into its own. Couldn't recommend the team at Safaris-R-Us highly enough, thanks Mary for all the organisation before we arrived, Gemma for all the support and advice, and Jackson for driving very slowly behind 8 bicycles right across Tanzania and becoming part of our team! I should say this is the second time we have ridden bikes across Tanzania supported by Safaris-R-Us, they are our go-to choice for advice, support, adaptability, great staff, and fair pricing! And most importantly fun! Couldn't recommend these guys highly enough if you want a safari provider who can cater to what you want and need and care and look after you!
