点评：No, I'm afraid, you can't claim you've seen Estonia just because you've stood in Tallinn's Old Town square. You really need to take the sometimes express two-and-a-half-hour bus ride to Tartu and spend at least three hours in the Estonian National Museum (Eesti Rahva Muuseum, in Estonian, or ERM). Admission is 16 euros for adults.
I actually recommend starting on the B side of the Encounters permanent exhibition and taking in the admirable Estonian woodworking, richly colorful folk costumes, and detailed blankets and rugs. As you walk back towards the A side, be sure to pop into the exhibits within the exhibit on the right-hand side. While the accompanying displays have information in Estonian, a tap of your "smart" ticket will change them to English, and another tap will send the information to your own personal website.
A day in Tartu is painless; there's even double-decker busses that take you there. (Take the train if you want to get even closer to Estonians.) While ERM and the train station are probably short cab-rides away, the bus station, the shopping malls, and the Old Town square are all within walking distance of each other and should keep you within your comfort zone.
