Estonian National Museum的点评
点评：Tartu surely is a gem of Estonia and this includes the Estonian National Museum, wow what a magnificant museum. From the centre of town we walked all the way out to the museum which took about twenty minutes, arriving this way we were able to view some of the scale of this large impressive modern building. Earlier in the day our walking tour guide suggested that if we visit the museum to walk all the way through the main hall from reception to the end then make our way back, this way we would be starting in pre-historic times.
There were so many fascinating exhibits, to learn more about the exhibits on the back of your entrance ticket is a QR Code to scan which then will load up information on the screens. Off the main hall are side rooms/halls filled with wonderful stories, costumes, objects. Then there was another exhibition of the local peoples and language downstairs. After three hours we were overloaded, this is a museum that could be enjoyed in multiple visits over two days.
FYI: Fold up chairs are available at either ends of the main hall.
