Franschhoek Wine Tram的点评
点评：This was our second trip on the Franschhoek Wine Tram and we went on the Blue Line, which takes you out to the vineyards in the Drakenstein Valley.
We took the shuttle from the kiosk to the terminal in Franschhoek as it was only a short walk from our hotel. From there it was about a 15 minute bus ride out to the Groot Drakenstein terminal to get the Tram.
The Tram ride took us first to Plaisir Vineyard for our first stop, a was a short bus ride again to the wine tasting area. Set outside with a lovely view over the vineyards
From Plaisir it was on to Verde en Lust for our second wine tasting. Here the tasting rooms are just a short walk from the tram stop. Once more a beautiful setting in which to do some wine tasting. Mountain and vineyard views.
Our third stop on the tram was back to Boschendal. The ride to the tasting rooms here takes you through a large part of the the Boschendal estate and one see how large this estate is. We spent enough time here to have light lunch before going back to the tram and returning to the terminal. Sitting out doors with the majestic mountains as a backdrop could be better.
It was then a bus ride out to our final stop of the day at Camberley. This is a smaller vineyard, but with a bespoke feel to it, quite unique compared to the other vineyard we had visited. It also offers some great views over the Drakenstein Valley.
The guides on both the tram and bus are very professional and keep you informed as you travel around. They have a great deal of information not only about the various vineyards, but the surrounding area as well.
This is definitely one tour not to be missed when in Franschhoek.
