Great way to start a celebration

点评：At the start of August 2025 I had rented a boat on Furesøen for one and a half hour on a Saturday.
We were 40 persons that were picked up from Holte station at 11 in the morning on a Saturday. Since I was celebrating my sixties birthday the boat had been done up with flags, and I had arranged champagne and snacks (disclosure, I knew one of the staff).
We sailed around Furesøen lake for 90 minutes, enjoying the sights and the weather while enjoying the light refreshments offered. When the trip came to an end we arrived at Restaurant Jægerhuset, for the next part of the celebration.
Most people usually just sail for an hour or so at the Baadfarten tour boats, and that is really great. They cover Lyngby and Bagsværd lakes and Mølleåen, besides of course Furesøen lake. There are many nice places where you can get off and have a nice meal or drink, Nybro, Frederiksdal, Sophienholm, Furesøbad to mention a few. So it is a really enjoyable way of spending a day.
This time I had decided to try something different, and I can warmly recommend chartering a boat for a party.
