点评：What an unforgettable holiday. Being born and raised in Vasto, Fabrizio was able to introduce us to the very best of Abruzzo. His deep knowledge, genuine affection for the region, and obvious pride in his heritage shone through every day. He is an exceptional guide—attentive, thoughtful, and always checking in to ensure everyone in the group felt comfortable and free to do as much or as little as they wished.
The itinerary offered a perfect balance of activities that highlighted the richness of Abruzzo: peaceful countryside walks, swims in the Adriatic, a medieval castle, traditional food production, cooking, and visiting a family who produce traditional jewellery designs. Each day felt like a favourite. I especially loved meeting Fabrizio’s family and friends—from chatting with market traders, making pasta with Zia Rosa and sharing a meal with her and Angelo, to baking bread and making cheese with Zia Miranda at the Agriturismo. Ettore and Barbara’s delicious dinner and fun art activity on our final night, as well as conversations with Antonio and Sabatino in the car, made us feel truly welcomed. The food and wine were outstanding and plentiful.
I travelled solo to Vasto, but by the end of the trip I felt part of a special family.
Fabrizio’s tour gave me a far deeper appreciation of the region than I could ever have gained travelling alone or with a non-local company. I would recommend this experience wholeheartedly, and I will always carry a piece of Abruzzo in my heart.
