Went for the northern lights, but came home with so much more.

点评：If you are thinking whether to book Wild Sweden or not... don't. Just do it. I cannot recommend them enough. My family and I had what can only be called as a life-changing trip. Originally I booked based on their emphasis on sustainability and the fact that they only do small, intimate groups. And really all I really wanted was to see the lights. But boy, did we get so much more. Their dedication to giving us an authentic experience, based in local customs, tradition and culture was unimaginable. From start to finish, Gina supported us through all the logistics and our local guide Mirje made the experience so rich and comfortable. We stayed in a local guest house in Jokkmokk called Asgard, who staff was warm and welcoming; we did dog sledding with Olav and Kristine; and visited Anna, whose family are reindeer herders. And the climax of the trip was our stay with Lennert at his nature camp where not only did we see the most brilliant northern lights, but we had a chance to talk and learn about Sapmi and the Sami culture. This was one of the most memorable trips I have ever been on. We made core memories and I am sure my teens will remember it forever. 10/10!!
