点评：We're a party of three, a retired couple in our 60's along with our mid-thirties single daughter, travelling in Morocco for 12 days. We are all experienced travelers, having visited roughly 30 different countries.
Since we were travelling over the Christmas break, we made our reservation nine months in advance. This is not too early for that busy time of year. We began the reservation process with a one hour introductory zoom call with Lucas, just to tell him the kind of travelers we were and what we were interested in, and a week later he followed up with the perfect itinerary for us.
We stayed in six different lodgings. All were outstanding. And the food in each was excellent.
Our guides: Naim in Fez, Tata in the Sahara, and Mohamed in Marrakesch were all delightful, all a pleasure to talk with and they taught us so much about Morocco. And our private driver for the entire trip, Hamid, was exceptional and we now consider him a family friend for life.
We are NOT fans of the cruise line type of vacation, the "get off the boat, eat at a restaurant, take a quick tour and jump back on the boat" style of trip. Fortunately, this trip was none of that. Rather, this trip allowed us to interact with the people of Morocco, to better understand their culture and their religion, and to get to know what their lives are like. One day we also had the honor of actually sharing a meal in their home - the experience was priceless.
Everything was perfect. The logistics, the lodging, the planning, the communication. Everything. And JBT can tailor your trip to match your budget. Thank you Lucas and Amina (and the rest of the JBT staff), for an experience we will always treasure.
