点评:Bald River Falls is a nature-based attraction in Tellico Plains, TN, offering visitors the opportunity to experience the beauty of a cascading waterfall in a serene environment. There is limited onsite parking with additional parking and public toilets available a mere quarter mile at the "Baby Falls" above the 100 foot towering waterfall. Kayaking and fishing is available on the Bald River with launch from under the newly constructed bridge on an easy to medium course down river. Because the falls is located next to a rebuilt paved highway, it is easily wheelchair accessible. Mists from the falls will wet you and digital cameras should be encased or weather sealed, this includes cell phones. There is limited cell phone coverage and although seemingly close to the Cherokee Reservation, the drive if attempted from the falls to the reservation is a comparative lengthy one and I would not advise doing this in the dark as it is a very rural and remote roadway if proceeding beyond the falls. Both the road and falls spillway are located in the Cherokee National Forest. We drove there immediately after a storm in anticipation of rushing waters and were not disappointed. So, even in rain or sun, the falls will not disappoint.
