Milky Way Farm wonderful tour of home and grounds

点评：I saw the gates and horse racing track at the farm about 10 years ago as I was driving by. I did some research and learned a little of the history of Frank Mars and his family. I finally took the opportunity to tour the farm and manor house today and it was a great experience.
The dining room has a Huge table that seats 40. The house was built by craftsman from an era that we probably cannot replicate today. The parties and entertainment back in the day would have been divine! The porches with views of the mountains and valleys are relaxing. The grounds include beautiful magnolia trees, wonderful old horse barns in various stages of restoration- some are just the foundations- but some are working barns in use today.
The history of the family’s pursuit of excellence in horses, cattle, sheep and all things is evident in the architecture of the building that remain. Many are available for events and weddings which would be stunning. I highly recommend a visit to Milky Way Farms.
