What a superb tour company
Portugal Nature Trails的点评
点评：We used Portugal Nature Trails because they were the local agents for a walking holiday we booked via Mac Adventures in the UK. I am writing a specific review of Portugal Nature Trails (PNT) as well as another for Mac Adventures, as I think that they deserve a glowing review. It is easy to say a company is great when everything goes to plan, but I believe a review of how a company handles a hiccup is much more insightful.
We were extremely well looked after throughout our walking holiday. The accommodation was superb every day. The food along the Douro Valley was fantastic. We were met by the PNT rep, Lois, at the airport and he gave us a great briefing when we arrived at our first hotel.
Now here's the really impressive bit in my view. Our last touring day was planned to be a 6-hour river cruise from Regua to Porto. The snag was a bit of confusion about the start time, and we missed the boat. PNT called us to find out where we were and started to make alternative arrangements for our party of four. They called multiple times, and soon we were on our way by car to Pinhao, where we were provided with an amazing lunch before sailing on a 2-hour local river cruise. We were sent train tickets to transfer back to Porto, our original destination. So we ended up with a truly memorable day, which may well have been better than the original planned day. So I can confidently say that Portugal Nature Trails is a great company to put your holiday trust in. When things go well, they are excellent, and when challenges appear, they are even better! We thank them hugely for our memorable holiday.
