Know before you go….2 carts required if you bring a child

点评：My husband (avid golfer) and I (I only planned to play 9 holes this time but my husband was playing 18) brought our 3 year old son at this RTJ today. We have been bringing him to golf with us since he was 1.5 years old. He behaves well on the course…but I digress…the point is that we found out 20 mins before our tee time, that we would need to purchase a second cart. The employee and manager explained that this is the policy for more than 2 people. While I understand it is “policy”, the policy and inability to critically think and take each situation as case by case, needs to be addressed and changed. We were told it was also because of “slow play”. Our 3 year old does not play (so doesn’t affect the pace of play) and it is unsafe for a child this age to be riding on a seat alone. We discussed this with management but they would not allow us to all ride in one cart. On principle, I decided not to play and took my son to do a different activity, so that we would not have to purchase the 2nd cart. If this policy is in place to try and keep children off the course, mission accomplished. For a more family friendly environment, I highly recommend Purcell Farms/Farmlinks.
