毕翠克丝·波特的山顶房子的点评
点评：After a very hair raising drive to reach Hill Top, we made it. The area is absolutely breath taking and we were lucky with the weather as it was absolutely glorious. We were greeted at reception and given directions for the short walk to the house. We were then welcomed by a member of staff and she explained the visit. We headed up to the house which has been left as Beatrix had it. All the things inside belonged to Beatrix. They even had her little clogs on display. It was not a very long trip but you can take as long as you like in the house as it is self guided. Then you can explore the garden were there are facilities to get a drink and sit in the garden. We loved this little trip and was so glad we did it. There is a little gift shop, were the 2 ladies on duty were so friendly and knowledgeable. We bought some books there and was given a special book plate to put in them which you can only get from Hill Top, it shows that the books are from Hill Top. Definitely worth the trip, loved it.
