Fuji Reien Cemetry的点评
点评：Fuji Reien is a beautiful and very large cemetery nestled in the bosom of Mt. Fuji. Great care and planning have gone into the vegetation there, so almost any time of year that you visit will be visually rewarding.
My wife’s family has a gravesite here, so our visit is solemn and personal. But there are restaurants and other facilities here that can tend to your earthly needs as well.
Getting to Fuji Reien can be a challenge. There are Odakyu Line Romance Car express trains from Shinjuku station in Tokyo, but those that stop at Suruga Oyama are few and far between. A regular express to Hon Atsugi will work, with a switch to a local train stopping at Suruga Oyama will do the job, followed by a bus ride to the Promised Land.
You can also drive here and even treat yourself to a visit at Mt. Fuji Speedway. T think Express Buses are also available from Shinjuku station.
