点评：We booked a private boat trip to see the dolphins, hoping to see whales and for snorkelling on 23rd September 2024. We were not disappointed!
From the moment we arrived, we received courteous, friendly and exceptional service from Carl and Alan.. we were helped aboard the boat, which was very comfortable and clean and made to feel very comfortable. Carl and Alan introduced themselves and gave us endless information about the area, Mauritius and the dolphins, whales and sea creatures.
We were told that obviously seeing whales is never guaranteed, but once out to sea, Carl received a call from a colleague that whales were present. We set off for the spot, and saw a beautiful whale and her calf frolicking in the sea. A respectful distance was kept so as not to disturb the whales, but close enough for us to get some photos and observe. It was amazing.
We then headed off to where dolphins were spotted, there must have been a pod of at least 40 bottle nose and spinner dolphins. Carl and Alan provided us with masks and fins and we were able to actually get in the sea and swim amongst the dolphins. Special thanks to Alan, who held my hand as we swam amongst the dolphins and ensured my safety and confidence. A true gentleman! Soft drinks were provided on board.
We then visited Crystal rock, which was beautiful.
We then moved on to a snorkelling area to swim amongst the fish and marine life. A truly amazing experience.
We would highly recommend JPH Charters, and will definitely use their services again on our next trip to Mauritius.
